Privacy statement

This is the privacy statement of the general partnership Scandinavian Dreams (hereinafter: Scandinavian Dreams), registered with the Dutch Chamber of Commerce under number 84800577 and located at Marktplein 5 (5296NA) in Esch, the Netherlands.

This document explains how Scandinavian Dreams handles the processing of your personal data. In processing your personal data, Scandinavian Dreams exercises the utmost care.

Acquisition of Personal Data

When you use the services of Scandinavian Dreams, you provide certain personal data to Scandinavian Dreams, or personal data about you is obtained in the context of the agreement. Personal data is defined as any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person.

Scandinavian Dreams processes the following categories of personal data:

  • Vehicle data, including license plate information;

  • Financial data, including transaction details;

  • Account data, including your password and username;

Purpose of Processing

The personal data processed by Scandinavian Dreams are intended for the following purposes:

  • To contact you and inform you about the services you have received and their execution;

  • To perform its services;

  • To improve its services;

  • To process payments;

  • To comply with legal obligations;

  • To conduct marketing and communications, including improving the website by analyzing visitor behavior;

  • To send newsletters;

  • To make personalized offers;

The processing of your personal data is necessary to provide the services. The services offered by Scandinavian Dreams cannot be fully executed without processing your personal data. All (obtained) personal data will not be retained longer than strictly necessary.

 

Processing by Third Parties

Scandinavian Dreams only shares personal data with third parties if this is strictly necessary for the performance of an agreement and to comply with relevant laws and regulations. No personal data is sold. Scandinavian Dreams may have a legal obligation to share personal data with third parties. When personal data is shared with third parties, data processing agreements are concluded. The third parties with whom personal data is shared are:

  • The Payment Provider, for the purpose of performing an agreement. The categories of personal data processed are financial data;

  • The Accountant, for the purpose of performing an agreement. The categories of personal data processed are contact and identification data, and financial data;

  • Software Providers, for the purpose of performing the agreement. The categories of personal data processed are contact and identification data;

  • Website Administrator, for the purpose of performing the agreement. The categories of personal data processed are contact and identification data;

  • Engaged Third Parties, for the purpose of performing the agreement. The categories of personal data processed are contact and identification data.

 

Security of Personal Data

Scandinavian Dreams takes the protection of your personal data seriously and, considering the state of the art, implementation costs, as well as the nature, scope, context, and processing purposes, and the varying risks to the rights and freedoms of individuals in terms of likelihood and severity, adopts appropriate technical and organizational measures to ensure a level of security that is appropriate to the risk.

 

Under 16 Years Old?

If you are a minor, that is, under the age of 16, you may only give consent for the processing of your personal data with the permission of one of your parents or legal guardians. It is important that your parent(s) or guardian read this statement. They can also exercise the rights you have with respect to the personal data you leave with us, such as the right to object to the (further) processing of your personal data or the right to access and correct your data.

 

Rights of Data Subjects

As a data subject, you have the following rights:

  • Right of access: As a data subject, you have the right to obtain confirmation as to whether or not your personal data is being processed and, if so, to gain access to the details of the processing;

  • Right to rectification: You have the right to obtain the rectification and supplementation of inaccurate data;

  • Right to restriction of processing: As a data subject, you have the right to request the restriction of the processing of your personal data. Please contact Scandinavian Dreams for this purpose;

  • Right to data portability: A data subject has the right to receive their personal data, which they have provided to Scandinavian Dreams, in a structured, commonly used, and machine-readable format in order to transfer it to a third party. A data subject may also instruct Scandinavian Dreams to transfer this data directly to a third party;

  • Right to object: A data subject has the right to object at any time, for reasons related to their particular situation, to the processing of their personal data, including profiling based on those provisions. Scandinavian Dreams will cease processing the personal data unless there are compelling legitimate grounds for the processing that override the interests, rights, and freedoms of the data subject related to the exercise, establishment, or defense of legal claims.

 

Complaint

If you have a complaint about the way Scandinavian Dreams handles your personal data, or if you wish to exercise any of the above rights, you can contact us via the website or by email at info@scandinaviandreams.eu. To ensure that you wish to exercise a right, Scandinavian Dreams requests that you send a copy of your identification document. You may redact your photo and the strip with numbers at the bottom to protect your privacy. Scandinavian Dreams will respond to your request as soon as possible, but no later than within 4 weeks. You may also file a complaint with the Data Protection Authority. This is the competent enforcement authority.

 

Changes to the Privacy Statement

Scandinavian Dreams may amend the privacy statement at any time. The most recent version will be published on the website. Therefore, always check the website for the most up-to-date version. If the new privacy statement impacts how Scandinavian Dreams processes data previously collected about you, Scandinavian Dreams will inform you of this by email.
