Welcome to Gammelseterhaugen Setertun!
On the eastern side, there is a short distance to both alpine skiing and cross-country skiing. Here you’ll find facilities such as restaurants, a sports shop, ski rental, ski school, après-ski, and a grocery store. Right nearby is the GudbrandsGard Hotel with a swimming pool and wellness area.
In summer, there are excellent hiking and cycling opportunities. Within a half-hour drive, you can reach several attractions such as Hunderfossen to the south and Fron Water Park to the north. There is also a short distance to charming small town centers like Fåvang and the village of Ringebu.
 
It is approximately a 45-minute drive to the Sjoa River and Sjoa Rafting AS in Heidal, where during the summer season you’ll find many fun water activities such as rafting, canyoning, stand-up paddleboarding, and treetop climbing. You can also visit the village of Heidal, which has Norway’s highest concentration of protected houses and farms.
 
Gammelseterhaugen Setertun offers everything you need for a relaxing stay. The kitchen is equipped with a refrigerator, freezer, stove, dishwasher, microwave, coffee maker, and a DeLonghi capsule machine. The dining room seats up to 18 people—perfect for enjoying meals together.
After a day of activities, you can unwind in the living room, which features a sofa, TV, and a warm fireplace—ideal for cozy evenings by the fire. In the basement of the main cabin, you’ll find a pool table, and directly across the courtyard there is a separate spa area with, among other things, a hot tub and sauna.
