Welcome to Fjellreven – a beautiful and modern mountain cabin, completed in 2023 and built to an exceptionally high standard. With a combination of modern design, quality materials and a warm, welcoming atmosphere, Fjellreven is the perfect sanctuary for those who want a relaxing stay in the mountains, surrounded by magnificent nature.
 
Start your morning with a cup of freshly brewed coffee while enjoying the beautiful views of the countryside. For those who love cross-country skiing, the location could hardly be better; the ski slopes are only 100 meters from the cabin. Simply strap on your skis and set off for a hike in the peaceful winter landscape. Whether you are an experienced skier or prefer a leisurely hike through snow-capped mountains, you have fantastic opportunities for outdoor activities right on your doorstep.

Well-being and comfort
 
On the ground floor you will find a spacious living room and an open-plan kitchen – a natural gathering point for family and friends. The well-equipped kitchen has everything you need to prepare delicious meals, and the dining table has plenty of room for eight people. This facilitates pleasant breakfasts, long dinners and memorable evenings together.
 
The bright and spacious living room is one of the cabin's highlights; large windows let the beautiful mountain nature all the way in. Make yourself comfortable, enjoy the view, or gather around the fireplace after a day out in the fresh air. The combination of the nature outside, modern interiors and the warmth from the fireplace creates a lovely, warm atmosphere - perfect for cool evenings in the mountains.
 
On the second floor there is a separate TV room, which provides an extra place to relax. This is the ideal place for a movie night, to catch up on your favourite series, or simply to retire with a good book after an eventful day. With several living areas, everyone can find their own favourite spot, while enjoying time together.
 
For extra comfort and convenience, Fjellreven has two full bathrooms, making it very suitable for both families and groups of friends. The well-thought-out floor plan and spacious areas ensure a comfortable stay for everyone.  
 
One of the cottage's main highlights is the large terrace at the front, which offers good sun conditions throughout the day. This is the perfect place to enjoy your morning coffee, relax with a good book in the afternoon, or share a delicious meal outdoors when the weather permits. Breathe in the fresh mountain air, feel the warmth of the sun, and enjoy the peaceful surroundings.
 
Whether you visit us in the snowy winter months or in the brighter summer season, Fjellreven is a fantastic starting point for experiencing the beauty of the mountains. Use your days to explore the trails in the surrounding area and participate in various outdoor activities, and then return to the warm atmosphere of the cabin. Here you can cook a good meal, relax in front of the fireplace, or enjoy a quiet evening in the living room on the second floor.

Practical information
 
Consumables such as toilet paper, soap, matches, candles, coffee and coffee capsules and more are not included in the stay and must be brought by the guests.
 
Bed linen and towels are not included, but can be rented through Nesfjellet Booking. A booked bed linen package includes sheets, duvet covers and pillowcases, as well as one large and one small towel per person.
 
There is enough firewood inside the cabin on arrival. If you need more firewood during your stay, you must either bring your own or buy through Nesfjellet Booking.
 
The cabin is equipped with a Nespresso machine. Feel free to bring your own Nespresso capsules if you want to use this.
 
Final cleaning is included in your stay, so you can end your holiday and return home without having to clean the cabin yourself.
 
In winter, we recommend good winter tires and that you bring a chain, as the weather and driving conditions in the mountains can change quickly.
 
Inside the cabin you will find a QR code that links to an information letter. This should be read both on arrival and before departure.
 
Pets are not allowed.
 
Location and activities
 
The cabin has a fantastic location, just a stone's throw from one of Norway's most beautiful high mountain courses for golf.
 
You also live right next to cross-country ski trails, and only a minute's drive from Nesfjellet Alpin – a ski resort that boasts Scandinavia's most impressive chairlift.
 
The surrounding area offers great opportunities for cycling and hiking for the whole family, including purpose-built flow trails. A short drive takes you to Hallingspranget, a spectacular 17 km long cycle path.
 
This makes the cottage an ideal starting point for a family holiday, both summer and winter.
 
It is a 30-minute drive to Langedrag, 45 minutes to Bjørneparken in Flå, and 40 minutes to the Tropicana water park in Gol.
